Dr. Sara Barber is passionate about helping her clients maximize their potential: the potential of their business, their staff, and their livestock. She grew up on a diversified farm near Worthington, MN where she learned the value of hard work and determination. She received a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota, Morris in 1996 and her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 2000. Dr. Barber spent the next 18 years in private veterinary practice where her emphasis was on dairy, calf, and feedlot operations. She is driven to find the root cause of challenges and enjoys discovering solutions with the farm team. She is a WeAlign Certified Coach and a Strengths Champion Certified Coach. In November 2018, Dr. Barber left mixed animal practice to start Foundation Livestock Service with Dan Bakker. Dr. Barber enjoys life with her husband, Bruce, and three children. They encourage each other at many sporting events and 4-H activities. She is energized by cross country skiing, flower gardening, a roaring campfire, and conversations with friends.
